Usage[edit]

This template is used to create an inline citation link to the general references section of an article. It is useful when a potentially contentious statement is verified by a general reference which also verifies the whole article, and/or for processes such as Did you know which require hooks to be specifically verified by inline citations.

The template specifically creates an inline citation link [General] , which links directly to the References header in the article. The general references are usually directly below the References header. If the References header on the article is named something else (like Notes or Citations, for example), this template currently won't work.

Example[edit]

There are thirty-five items in this list.[General]
