Balasore train disaster tooks place on 02 June 2023 when 10-12 coaches[1] of the Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express and 3-4[2] coaches of another train from Yeswanthpur to Howrah derailed near Baleswar in Balasore district in Odisha.[3][4]
Reactions
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi tweeted condolences to the families and also informed about this to railway minister Ashwani Vaishnav.[5]
