Cwmgelli Cemetery is a large cemetery located in the Treboeth area of Swansea.

The cemetery opened in 1896 and covers around 8 acres.[1]

There are 37 identified casualties buried here as listed by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.[2]

The cemetery is one of the registered historic parks and gardens in Swansea.

Notable Burials

Private David Jenkins, G Company 1st Battalion 24th Regiment of Foot, who fought at the battle of Rorke's Drift is buried here.[3]
