Faisal Alatig

Faisal Ibrahim Alatig is a Saudi industrial engineer and chief executive officer (CEO) of channels by Saudi Telcom Company since March 2021, with over 21 years of experience. Alatig has chaired the executive committees of channels by stc Bahrain and Oman.[1]

Education

Faisal Ibrahim Alatig received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 2000, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from King Saud University in 2012.

Career

Faisal Ibrahim Alatig started his career as an industrial engineer in Alsalam Aircraft Company between October 2001 and June 2004. Afterwards, he transferred to Alsafi Danone Company to work as a financial controller between June 2004 and October 2004. Eng. Alatig then joined stc to work as a senior business analyst from October 2004 to August 2008. Later, he was appointed to the position of performance/program management section manager in stc in the years between August 2008 and December 2013. Then, he held the position of strategic and financial planning director in stc between December 2013 and June 2014. He then held the position of stc’s sales planning and performance director until September 2017. Later, Engineer Alatig transferred to channels by stc company where he was appointed the position of vice president of strategic management between October 2017 and December 2018. Then, he held the position of vice president of strategic and category management in the same company during the time of January 2019 and March 2021. Alatig was appointed Chief Executive Officer of channels in March 2021, a position he holds to this day.[2]
