Career

Lord Lamba's career as a comedian started in 2019.[3][4] Before then, he wanted to be a professional footballer, a dream he nurtured since childhood. However, his mother made him see the possibility of venturing into comedy because of his ability to make people laugh.[5][6]

He first started comedy by posting short skits on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.[7][8] By 2020, he was fully into the comedy industry and released his first video which earned him the title "Lord of Lies"[9][10]

In 2021, he won the DENSA Award as Social Media Comedian of the Year after being nominated alongside Broda Shaggi, Mr. Sabinus and Taaooma among others.[11] That same year, he won the Nigeria Choice Awards as the Best Content Creator of The Year.
