Howell Hollow is a valley in northwest Shannon County in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] The northeast flowing intermittent stream in the valley is a tributary to the Current River about one mile northwest of Akers.[2] The source area is at 37°22′35″N 91°36′38″W / 37.37639°N 91.61056°W / 37.37639; -91.61056 and the confluence is at 37°22′30″N 91°35′17″W / 37.37500°N 91.58806°W / 37.37500; -91.58806 with an elevation of 863 feet (263 m).[1]

Howell Hollow has the name of the local Howell family.[3]
