Detective Karthik is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language film Produced by Ashok Reddy Tatiparthi[1] and Co Produced By Pardhu Reddy under the banner of Reading Lamp Creations and One Media Et Pvt Ltd. Directed and written by Venkat Narendra,[2] starring Rajath Raghav, Goldie Nissy, Abhilash Bandari, Shruti Mol, Anusha Nuthula, Hasini Rai, Madee, and others. Music and background score of the film was composed by Marcus M. Detective Karthik was Theatrical released on 21 July 2023.[3][4][5]

Plot

Rishitha, a brilliant high school student, is murdered anonymously. Private detective Sandhya and her assistant Pallavi lead the investigation. Meanwhile, Karthik, who has a crush on Sandhya, decides to follow her around every day, but discovers that Sandhya has been missing for three days. Karthik takes on the murder case, believing it is connected to Sandhya's disappearance. After twists and turns, he closes the murder case, but is unable to locate Sandhya. He takes a different approach and begins deducing Sandhya's missing case from a different angle. Will Karthik find Sandhya? Can he solve the case and find the true perpetrator?[6][7][8]

A critic from 123Telugu.com wrote that the crime investigation thriller Detective Karthik has an okay but predictable story and rated 2.25 out of 5.[9] Telugu News Daily Sakshi Wrote that impressed Crime Thriller.[10] Telugu Film Nagar wrote that "Detective Karthik Movie is A Twisty Story”[11]. A critic From Talkies corner Wrote That Detective Karthik is a promising crime thriller with a mix of hits and misses.[12] [13][14][15]
