Ninjabread Man is a platformer from English developer/publisher Data Design Interactive. The character Ninjabread Man, designed by Michael Rooker first came to light on the PS2 and PC in July 2005. In February 2007, Data Design announced they would release it on the Wii in Q2 2007[1].

Plot

Candy Land is under attack! This once sweet and tasty land has been taken over by hordes of snapping Cup Cakes, Angry Bees and Jelly Monsters.

Only one man can stop this evil army of monster cakes. He’s one tough cookie; a guy that won’t crumble under the pressure...... ’Ninjabread Man’ is here!

Throw Ninja stars to stun enemies and then follow up with Ninjabread Man’s mighty samurai sword, reducing enemies into a quivering pool of Raspberry Jam.

Each level is filled with enemies bent on the pursuit of power! Some of them can fly and others can shoot from a distance. Some can move very fast while others lie secretly in waiting and when Ninjabread man comes near, they spring into action and attack mercilessly.

Each enemy has their own strength. Collect power ups to increase the power and range of Ninjabread man’s weapons and use Ninja skills to jump onto high ledges, dash past enemies and find the Magic Candies!

Ninjabread Man has 4 modes of play that will keep you addicted to its sweet taste of gameplay. When the player completes a level and play it for a second time, a menu appears with a second game mode available, ‘Score Pickups’. Complete the level once again in this alternative mode, and the player will unlock ‘Time Attack’ mode, completion of which unlocks another hidden alternative mode the ‘Hidden Pickups!’ mode.

Ninjabread Man must progress to a teleportation device to progress to the next level. To activate the teleportation device Ninjabread must collect the 8 power rods that are hidden around the level.
