Lauren Baltayan (born 5 May 2007 in Cairo) is a French professional squash player.[1] As of July 2023, she was ranked number 104 in the world.[2] She won the 2023 Open des Bretzels, a Challenger 5 level event,[3][4] becoming the youngest ever European player to win a PSA title.[5] In her junior career she won the French[6] and Dutch[7] under 19 national opens.

Baltayan was born in Egypt, where she was exposed to the squash scene, to a French mother and a Egyptian/Armenian father.[8] At the age of 12, she was referred to as "the future of French squash" by Le Parisien.[9] She has been on the French squash radar since the age of 11, and is known for her attacking style.[10] She is a dual national, and has chosen to represent France.[11]
