Zalmai Mahmoud Ghazi (b. circa 1925)[1] was the Afghan ambassador to France from 1965 until 1971,[2][3] and to England from 1971-1973.[4]
Ghazi is the son of Shah Mahmoud Khan, a former Afghan prime minister.[5] As the first cousin of King Mohammed Zahir Shah, he is addressed as Prince Ghazi.[1][6]
Ghazi has a bachelor's degree from Harvard and a master's from Columbia, both in political science.[1]
He married the daughter of Afghan prime minister, Mohammad Daoud Khan.[5]
