Comment: Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO, WP:AUTHOR, WP:PROF) but presently it is not clear that it does. Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. Alan D. Gaff (born 1948) is an American military historian, best known for his books focusing on American wars such as On Many a Bloody Field (1997), Bayonets in the Wilderness (2004), Blood in the Argonne (2005), and for his memoir on Lou Gehrig titled Lou Gehrig: The Lost Memoir (2020). A graduate of Ball State University and Indiana University, he is the recipient of an Award of Merit from the Wisconsin Historical Society.[1][2][3][4][5]
