Hi,

I am Joost Ringoot.

Beïng a parttime student, I find wikipedia a very usefull source for finding and sharing information.

Alas many docents find Wikipedia articles a too untrustfull source to mention in projects as a reference.

It is a fact that Wikipedia is not fault-proof. But I believe that this could improve a lot by more involvement of academic staff in the project.

Researchers please put your research results online in Wikipedia!

Beïng a fulltime employed IT-engineer I find Wikipedia very usefull for looking up info quickly and better organised than using a search engine.

Starting at Wikipedia one can dig deeper into info via internal links or external references to people and companies more closely involved in the concerning subject.

So a big "thumbs up" for Wikipedia!
