Far Out (website); wp:promotion issue

Regarding this edit that you reverted [1], this user [2] replaced it again. I had to revert theirs again today [3].

Persons who use Wikipedia as a platform for wp:promotion and are linked to a brand, are not allowed to contribute on an encyclopedia, it is in our rules/ This user [4] along with this ip [5] added exactly the same promotional content on the same day. I mean, I'm not sure why I'm being told this, I only saw it through recent changes patrolling (RCP), I mean, not to be rude, but it kind of sounds like you're lecturing me on our policies. For future reference, it is better to deal with vandalism by checking the article's page history to determine how it appeared before it was vandalised. You can then restore the whole article, or the relevant part of it, to an appropriate earlier version. Sumanuil, hello, just a reminder to please do not template the regulars. I've been around for a while, almost 10 years in fact, over 32,000 edits. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing. Admittedly, the vandalism was inside of a reference in the middle of a bunch of legit edits, but we all need a reminder now and then. And there's also an essay that says "do template the regulars". - Sumanuil. _{(talk to me)} 23:02, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sumanuil I will mention that when doing RCP with Huggle, as soon as you revert an edit, it immediately goes to the next edit for review, so that's the reason why some vandalism already on the page goes missed at times. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 23:04, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
