Lukas Philip Czinger (born April 22, 1994) is an American entrepreneur. He is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Czinger Vehicles and Divergent3D.[1]

Career

Lukas Czinger began working at automotive technology startup Divergent3D in August 2017, where he is currently the Chief Operating Officer.[2] In 2019 he cofounded Czinger Vehicles along with his father Kevin Czinger. [3]

During his career at Divergent he is understood to have led the implementation and development of the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS), the technology backbone utilized by Divergent to design, manufacture, and assemble structures for the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries.[4]

In December 2022 Divergent raised a Series D with a lead investment from Hexagon AB, which valued the company at greater than $US1.1 billion.[5][6]

In addition to his leadership role at Divergent Lukas is the COO and Co-Founder of Czinger Vehicles. He is reported to have established the founding business plan and operating team that led to the creation and commercialization of the 21C hypercar.[7]

Lukas was recognized on the 2023 Forbes 30 Under 30 list under the manufacturing and industry category for his leadership of Czinger Vehicles and Divergent.[8] Throughout his career Lukas has been named on multiple patents within the automotive technology and manufacturing fields. [9]

Ahead of joining Divergent in August 2017 Lukas was leading a career in investment banking at Centerview Partners.[10]

Personal life

Lukas Czinger graduated from Harvard Westlake High School in 2012.[11] He attended college at Yale University, majoring in electrical engineering, and playing as the right back on the men's varsity soccer team.[11]
