Elizabeth Isabel Amour (c. 1885 - 7 March 1945) was a Scottish painter and potter.

Life

Her father was James Hogg Amour (2 February 1851 - 30 October 1923), a marine engineer from Drymen in Stirlingshire.

Her mother was Annie Margaret McKellar from Kilchrenan in Argyll. James and Annie married on 11 April 1884 in Glasgow.

Elizabeth Isobel Amour was born around January 1885 in Prestwich, Lancashire.

She married the Edinburgh architect and painter George Patrick Houston Watson (c. 1887 - 27 December 1959) on 14 October 1916.

Art

She founded the Bough Pottery in Edinburgh and signed her work E. A. Bough.

Death

She died on 7 March 1945 in the George Square district of Edinburgh.

She was buried on 10 March 1945.
