Hello, I'm Thilsebatti. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Jishnu Raghavan seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Thilsebatti (talk) 05:19, 30 September 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Jishnu Raghavan. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Thilsebatti (talk) 11:07, 30 September 2023 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
Hello, Asiant22. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Jishnu Raghavan, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Thilsebatti (talk) 10:14, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
Removal of maintenance template
Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Jayashankar8022 (talk) 15:03, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- How can i resolve this to remove unrealible sources.Give me some guidence.Thank you Asiant22 (talk) 15:14, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Asiant22 You can remove the maintenance template once the addressed issue has been solved. The article of Jishnu Raghavan contains some unreliable sources, mainly filmibeat.com, which is considered an unreliable source. It is used multiple times as a reference in the article and should be replaced by a reliable source. You can learn more about reliable sources at WP:RS. A number of reliable and unreliable websites are listed at WP:ICTFSOURCES. Thank you. Jayashankar8022 (talk) 15:48, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Is IMDB is a reliable source. Asiant22 (talk) 07:07, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
- No, the use of IMDb as a source is discouraged. But it can be used in the external links section. You can find more details at WP:RS/IMDB and WP:CITEIMDB. Thank you. Jayashankar8022 (talk) 11:48, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
