Why is there no plot summary yet?

Its been out nearly a day now, I think it's time now, with maybe a spoiler flair

Plagiarism accusation

I moved this here as I'm not sure if this is has strong enough notability/verification to be on the actual page. No other major outlets reported on this, no response from WB or the makers of Reminiscence and, outside this reddit comment thread, there's not much substantive from the claimant.

=== Uncredited adaptation controversy ===
The production credits Lisa Joy as the sole writer on the project. However, in a Reddit thread[1], writer/director Shawn Holmes claims the film bears multiple strong similarities to his 2012 Memory Lane. Memory Lane premiered at Sci-Fi-London in 2012, and was subsequently released to VOD and DVD in multiple territories. Holmes lists character names, plot points, shots, writing, copy and marketing similarities between the two films, with side-by-side footage he believes demonstrate these similarities.

Agree with SavageEdit. WP:RSPREDDIT Reddit is not a reliable source. Maybe he will be interviewed by a mainstream newspaper and mention it later, even that would be enough, but for now a Reddit thread is not a good enough source. Unless someone can find a reliable secondary source this does not meet the standards of Wikipedia. This is supposed to be an encyclopedia and has to take the higher level view. Also The Seven Basic Plots, it is rare that anyone thinks a film has an original story. -- 109.76.194.186 (talk) 15:17, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
