Suspected sockpuppets

See following timeline:

  • 15:53, 22 December 2023 - Known sock Kerashtra21 blocked by me on Commons;
  • 19:03, 22 December 2023 - Aerate22 created;
  • 10:45, 29 December 2023 - Kerashtra21 posts rambling admission to socking (i.e., knows en.wiki block is imminent--indeed, blocked 20 minutes later);
  • 10:52, 29 December 2023 - Aerate22 suddenly emerges, 7 days after creation, and makes first ever edit to give Kerashtra21 a barnstar;
  • 11:00, 29 December 2023 - Aerate22 makes second ever edit, a message to me (the blocking Commons CU) about Kerashtra21 and master Ayushmaan14;
  • 11:02, 29 December 2023 - Aerate22 jumps into a discussion on Talk:Ayodhya Junction railway station , in which Kerashtra21 had participated 30 minutes earlier (and indeed the LTA's topic area of Indian trains), with purported concern about socking.

Of course, a brand-new user would not be expected to be aware of the Kerashtra21 account, or of barnstars. A brand-new user would also not be expected to be aware of me (I have no article overlap with master or socks, and have never interacted with these accounts on en.wiki) or of Ayushmaan14. Disingenuous "good hand" concerns about socking are not inconsistent with historical vandalistic trolling by master. Эlcobbola talk 17:01, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
