The Al Ghazala Intercontinental Hotel Tripoli is a partially-completed, under construction 351-room 5-star luxury hotel in Al-Shat Road, Tripoli.[1] The hotel began construction in July 2007, and was expected to be completed by the next 40 months, but works were halted in 2011 due to the arising Libyan Civil War. [2]

Plans on reconstructing the hotel began on 2014, when the Area General Manager of MAN Enterprises Wassim Aouad, said that reconstruction has already started in January 2014, but actual works could not begin sooner, as many processes were still need to be done first.[3] And if works began as planned, the hotel will be fully completed by September 2017. As of 2024, the hotel is still incomplete.[4][5]
