The 2023 Erewash Council election took place on 4 May 2023 to elect all 47 members of Erewash Borough Council in Derbyshire, England.[1] This was on the same day as other local elections across England.
Following the results, the Conservatives lost control of the council to Labour for the first time in 20 years.[2] The Labour group leader, James Dawson, was appointed leader of the council at the subsequent annual council meeting on 25 May 2023.[3]
