Kai Fujimura (Japanese: 藤村 加偉, Hepburn: Fujimura Kai, born 29 March 1995) is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to Pro Wrestling NOAH under the ring name Kai Fujimura. He has also made appearances for wrestling promotions Dragon Gate and WRESTLE-1.[1]
Professional wrestling career (since 2019)
WRESTLE-1 (2019–2020)
Kai Fujimura made his professional wrestling debut on December 26, 2019, at WRESTLE-1 Tour 2019 Shining Winter, where he teamed with Ganseki Tanaka, Ryuji Hijikata and Ryuki Honda losing to Alejandro, Kaz Hayashi, Koji Doi and Masayuji Kono.[1][2] On December 31, at WRESTLE-1 Wonder Carnival 2019, Fujimura teamed with Takuro Niki and Hajime losing to So Daimonji, Hiroaki Moriya and Kyosuke Ikaho.[1][3] On January 25, at WRESTLE-1 Wrestle Soul Vol.3, Fujimura got his first win in his career when he defeated Takuro Niki.[1][4] On March 15, at WRESTLE-1 Wrestle Wars 2020, Kai Fujimura had his last match with WRESTLE-1 when he was defeated by Takuro Niki.[1][5]
Pro Wrestling NOAH (since 2020)
On November 28, 2020, at NOAH New Hope On Wrestle Universe, Ka Fujimura made his debut for Pro Wrestling NOAH where he was defeated by Atsushi Kotoge.[1][6][7] On December 29, at NOAH Sugiura-gun Produce: All Dogs Gather! 2 Takashi Sugiura 20th Anniversary Show, Fujimura got his first win in Pro Wrestling NOAH when he defeated Yasutaka Yano.[1][8][9] He spent the next few months losing all his matches. On March 6, 2021, at NOAH Engine Full Throttle! Yokohama Full Throttle, Fujimura defeated Yasutaka Yano.[10][11][12] Throughout the next 2 months he lost all matches.[1] On May 2, at NOAH The Ovation 2021 - Day 1, Fujimura defeated Yasutaka Yano.[1][13][14] On June 21, at NOAH The Home #4, Fujimura teamed with Atsushi Kotoge to defeat Daisuke Harada and Yasutaka Yano.[1][15] On June 23, at NOAH The Home #6, Fujimura teamed with Atsushi Kotoge and Yoshiki Inamura to defeat Daisuke Harada, Junta Miyawaki and Kaito Kiyomiya.[1][16] Throughout the end of June until the end of September he lost all his matches.[1] On September 24, at NOAH The Home #13, Fujimura defeated Yasutaka Yano again. Later that same night, he teamed with Kinya Okada going against Yasutaka Yano and Junta Miyawaki but it ended in a draw.[1] On October 10, at NOAH Grand Square 2021 In Osaka, Fujimura teamed with Daiki Inaba to defeat Kinya Okada and Yasutaka Yano.[17][18][19] On October 23, at NOAH The Home #16, Kai Fujimura and Ikuto Hidaka versus Atsushi Kotoge and Yasutaka Yano ended in a draw.[1] On December 7, at NOAH Man Crash 2021 - Day 1, Fujimura teamed with Hajime Ohara, King Tani, Mohammed Yone and Yasutaka Yano to defeat Aleja, Haoh, Manabu Soya, Nioh and Tadasuke in a 10 man tag match.[1]
On January 5, 2022, at NOAH Reboot 2022, Kai Fujimura and Kinya Okada defeated Junta Miyawaki and Yasutaka Yano.[1][20][21] On January 7, at NOAH N Innovation U-Cup - Day 2, Kai Fujimura versus Yasutaka Yano ended in a draw due to time limit.[1][22] On February 9, at NOAH Step Forward 2022 - Day 1, Fujimura defeated Yasutaka Yano.[1][23] On March 20, at NOAH Just Fine! 2022 - Day 1, Fujimura teamed with his real life brother Alejandro to defeat Kinya Okada and Yasutaka Yano.[1] On April 30, at NOAH Majestic 2022, Fujimura and Slex defeated Alejandro and Yasutaka Yano.[1][24][25] On May 21, at NOAH Dream On 2022 - Day 4, Fujimura and Yoshiki Inamura defeated Daiki Inaba and Junta Miyawaki.[1][26] On June 12, at DDT/NOAH/TJPW CyberFight Festival 2022, Kai Fujimura and Kinya Okada defeated Toi Kojima and Yuya Koroku.[1][27] On August 5, at NOAH Departure 2022, Fujimura teamed with Yoshinari Ogawa and Yuyu Susmu defeating Eita, NOSAWA Rongai and Super Crazy in a six person tag.[1][28] On September 21, at NOAH N Innovation 2022 - Day 5, Kai Fujimura defeated Yasutaka Yano.[1][29] On October 7, at NOAH Star Navigation 2022 - Day 7, Kai Fujimura defeated Taishi Ozawa.[1][30] The next week, at NOAH Sunny Voyage 2022 - Day 9, Kai Fujimura once again defeated Taishi Ozawa.[1][31] On November 11, at NOAH/Dragon Gate Global Dream, Fujimura teamed with Yasutaka Yano and Yoshiki Inamura to defeat Madoka Kikuta, Mochizuki Jr. and Ryu Fuda in a six person tag.[1][32][33][34] On November 23, at NOAH The Best 2022, Fujimura teamed with Yasutaka Yano and Yoshinari Ogawa to go against Eita, NOSAWA Rongai and Super Crazy but it ended in a draw due to double count out. The match was then restarted but got the same result, the match was restarted again this time with Fujimura, Yano and Ogawa picking up the win by disqualification.[1][35][36] On December 18, at NOAH New Hope 2022, Kai Fujimura was defeated by Naomichi Monguji.[1][37][38] After, Fujimura took six months off due to injury.[39]
On June 10, 2023, at NOAH Sunny Voyage 2023 - Day 16, Kai Fujimura returned from injury teaming with Atsushi Kotoge but was defeated by LEONA and Yoshinari Ogawa.[1][40][41] For the next few matches, Kai Fujimura defeated Yu Owada.[1] On August 19, at NOAH N-1 Victory 2023 - Day 5, Kai Fujimura and Seiki Yoshioka defeated Taishi Ozawa and Yu Owada.[1][42] On August 26, at NOAH N-1 Victory 2023 - Day 7, Kai Fujimura and Taishi Ozawa defeated Alejandro and Yu Owada.[1][43] On September 23, at NOAH Sunny Voyage 2023 - Day 24, Kai Fujimura and Junta Miyawaki defeated Taishi Ozawa and Yu Owada.[1][44] On October 7, at NOAH The Home Deluxe, Kai Fujimura teamed with Hi69 and Manuba Soya to defeat Atsushi Kotoge, Masa Kitamiya and Taishi Ozawa in a six person tag.[1][45] On October 20, at NOAH Star Navigation 2023 - Day 6, Kai Fujimura and Stallion Rogers defeated Taishi Ozawa and Yu Owada.[1][46][47] On October 22, at NOAH Sunny Voyage 2023 - Day 26, Kai Fujimura defeated Yu Owada.[1][48] On October 27, at NOAH Sunny Voyage 2023 - Day 28, Kai Fujimura and Hajime Ohara defeated Taishi Ozawa and Yu Owada.[1][49] On October 28, at NOAH Demolition Stage 2023 In Fukuoka, Kai Fujimura teamed with Akitoshi Saito and Stallion Rogers to defeat Mohammed Yone, Taishi Ozawa and Yu Owada.[1]
