Fire resistance?

Bagon has a 99% resistance to fire types? (it claims fire only hits it for 1% damage.) I very much doubt that, but without the proper sources, I can't verify it.

I feel like the video game part is rather strategy guide material than encyclopedia. Can anyone contribute with something better?
