Best2 Expression

[edit]

Just so everyone knows, Best2 is not expressed in the retinal pigment epithelium of the eye (as was previously stated in this article). Its only site of expression in the eye is in the non-pigmented ciliary epithelium. For more information, please read the paper entitled "Bestrophin 2 is expressed in human non-pigmented ciliary epithelium but not retinal pigment epithelium" by Zhang Y, Patil RV, and Marmorstein AD. The paper was published in Mol Vis in 2010. Mr. Thoreau (talk) 15:44, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
