Needs disambiguation.

[edit]

The phrase "suppose that x is not even, then x is odd" needs disambiguation. As the phrase stands, I can paraphrase it by saying that "x is not divisible by two, then x is still not divisible by two." Presumably it was meant to read either as "if you suppose that x is not even, then x is odd", OR, "suppose that if x is not even, then x is odd" - I don't think the sequence in which nothing happened would be of interest to anyone. Sorry I don't know the rules for posting. I hope that doesn't render my advice worthless. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8004:1DD2:F789:108:677B:49B1:5C48 (talk) 20:12, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
