Alexander F. Barbieri (July 6, 1907 – January 1993) was an American jurist. He served as a justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court from 1971 to 1972.
Life and career
[edit]Barbieri was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.[1]
Barbieri was a lieutenant commander in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1946.[2]
In 1971, Governor Raymond Shafer appointed Barbieri to serve as a justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.[2]
Barbieri died in January 1993 at his home in Chestnut Hill,[3] at the age of 85.
