Educational assignment

[edit]

Hello, I am a final year biochemistry student currently taking part in a science communication course. As part of the course, I will be editing the L-arabinose operon wiki. Feel free to leave any comments below regarding my work. Yiktingg1 (talk) 16:03, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have now added the ‘regulation’ section and ‘autoregulation’ sub-session.I have removed a table that illustrate sequence of the operon and added a diagram to show the structure of L-arabinose operon instead. Also, I made new diagrams to illustrate negative regulation, positive regulation and auto-regulation. I have included more references for this topic. I have reorganised the flow of the article. I have added more related topic in the ‘see also ‘session. Some rewording has been done on positive and negative regulation of araBAD. I will also add more online book sources for L-arabinose operon topic.Yiktingg1 (talk) 16:25, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Diagram Mistake

[edit]

There is a mistake in the diagram "Structure of L-arabinose operon of E. coli" the gene on the right should be AraD not AraC. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alex4442 (talkcontribs)

Thanks Alex4442. I've left a message with the file uploader, Yiktingg1, but they only edited Wikipedia briefly so might not respond. Adrian J. Hunter(talkcontribs) 12:19, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
