Oyebanji Filani is a Nigerian physician and health economist with years of experience in health financing, policy and reform for the state government and internationally recognized non-governmental organizations in public health sector. The Ekiti born health practitioner is currently Ekiti State commissioner of Health and Human Services appointed by governor Biodun Oyebanji in 2022. He is also the chairperson of Nigeria health commissioners forum comprising of the commissioners of health from some states in the country including Yobe, Niger, Ekiti, Kaduna, Sokoto and Nasarawa.[1][2][3][4] [5][6]

Education

He is a graduate of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos and he also has a degree in Health Economics and Health Policy from the University of Birmingham.[1]
