Axelent Ltd (UK)

Based in Swindon, Wiltshire, Axelent Ltd (UK) are the UK branch of Swedish manufacturer Axelent. Axelent LTD manufacture machine guarding, mesh partitioning, impact protection and cable management systems for the warehouse and logistics industry.[1]

In December 2016, Axelent Ltd moved to an office in Swindon that has approximately 8,000 square meters of office and warehouse space. Axelent Ltd cover both the UK and Ireland from their Swindon office.[1]

Products

Axelent manufactures and supplies a range of products with the main intention of making the warehouse and logistics industry safer and more efficient. Axelent state that ‘speed, safety, service and smart solutions are the watchwords that characterise our entire organisation and business’. [2]

Machine Guarding

Axelent supply machine guarding products under the 'X-Guard' brand. This includes products such as panels, doors, locks and switches. Axelent list the following features of their Axelent products; 'user-friendly', 'minimal maintenance' and 'high security'.[2]

Warehouse Partitioning

Axelent create mesh panels and guards for industry and warehouses. For instance, their X-Store 2.0 range enables you to divide areas or build restricted areas in a warehouse.[3] They also provide a range of pallet racks under the brand 'SafeStore' which helps to prevent falling goods.[3] Axelent manufacture a range of fall protection products, under the brand 'X-Rail'.[4] Mesh shelving products also available on their site, under the brand 'ShelfStore'.[4]

Impact Protection

Axelent supply a range of impact protection products, including impact barriers, bollards, pedestrian barriers and column guards. Axelent's range of impact protection products full under their brand 'X-Protect'. These products are designed in order to make the workplace a safer environment.[5]

Storage and Bicycle Racks

As well as supplying products for warehouses and workplace environments, Axelent also manufacture and supply a range of storage products and bicycle racks.[6]

The Axelent Group

The Axelent Group consists of four companies; Axelent, Axelent Engineering, Axelent Solutions and Axelent Wire Tray. Axelent claim that these four companies all share the same joint mission of 'making Swedish industry competitive through automation, safety, rational procedures, functions and expertise'.[7]

Axelent

Axelent is a company that manufactures mesh wall systems in the form of protection and partitioning systems for industry, warehouses and construction. Axelent's development, production, warehousing and packaging takes place in Hillerstorp, Sweden.

Axelent Engineering

Axelent Engineering is known to manufacture spare parts, prototypes and machine components for partners such as Bihler, Nidec-Minister and Numalliance.[8] As well as manufacturing parts and prototypes, the Axelent Engineering group are also responsible for machine support and servicing.

Axelent Solutions

Axelent Solutions provide solutions within product lifecycle and software development. They also offer consulting services for product and production development. Axelent Solutions are a partner of Dassault Systèmes, offering product lifecycle solutions and software for 3D design, engineering, 3D-cad, modelling, simulation and data and process management.[9]

Axelent Wire Tray

The Axelent Wire Tray group develop, manufacture and sell cable management systems based on wire trays under the 'X-Tray' brand.[10]

History of Axelent

Axelent was founded in 1990 by the Axelsson brothers Folke and Helge.[6] The name Axelent is inspired by their surname, Axelsson. In 1991, Axelent's products started to be sold in Denmark. In 1993, the first foreign establishment is established in Germany. In 2001, the company announces that they are established in ten countries. The company then grows even more when Axelent USA and Axelent England are formed in 2002.[11]

In 2005, Axelent acquire the subsidiary Axelent Engineering, which primarily focuses on the aurtomation of production processes. The X-Guard product is launched in 2008, which is a flexible and modular protective screen.

In 2018, Axelent is recognised by business magazine Veckans Affärer as one of the top companies in the nation and has further garnered acclaim as one of the highest-performing private enterprises within the Swedish business sphere by the Bisnoden network.

In 2022, Axelent launch their range of impact protection systems under the brand 'X-Protect'. This includes products such as pedestrian barriers, impact barriers, bollards and column guards.
