Rejection of Draft:Kaber Vasuki

Hello! Have fixed the bare links and simplified the article in view of neutrality. Request to review from regional perspective (Tamil Independent Music), artist is very notable in the space - even setting a record for artist with highest valued NFT sold by Indian independent musician at 1.5Crores. References of similar artists Tenma Sean Roldan. Artist in question is also the lyricist for the recent Kollywood movie by Dhanush CAPTAIN MILLER and has worked with notable Kollywood music artists adding notability beyond the Independent work. A barnstar for you!

The Teamwork Barnstar
You seem to be pretty active in AfDs, that's a good sign. I'm happy that I got an Indian person who could be more helpful to me. Cheers. CSMention269 (talk) 16:01, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I am just trying to challenge WP:PROMO here. @CSMention269 User4edits (talk) 10:48, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I created this page upon request from Wikiproject India/Requested Articles. Can you assess/review this page? CSMention269 (talk) 07:42, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @CSMention269, I am not a reviewer, but I can tell you that this is a station, and not a junction, with the following stats:
Track: Double Electric-Line
Number of Platforms: 3
Number of Halting Trains: 26
Number of Originating Trains: 0
Number of Terminating Trains: 0
source
I will leave the rest to you, and the reviewer. You may want to read WP:NRAIL. Thanks, User4edits (talk) 09:45, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User4edits, Do you remember which user created Asha Singh? Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 08:49, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Jeraxmoira, I am not aware, but you may want to see this.
Any specific reasons though? User4edits (talk) 11:56, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I started the above SPI. I believe Asha Singh was a redirect to Digamber Singh. Did someone try to recreate it? I saw a recently closed AfD here. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 18:22, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Jeraxmoira, Yes, it was created and existing when I nominated and for AfD (don't know how they pass AfC or patrol). Twinkle delivered the AfD message to User:Af1grazel . Thanks, User4edits (talk) 09:01, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User4edits, do you know why the article has been rejected into the main space?

@User4editsWhat makes this article not been notability guidelines? Your feedback would be very helpful in this stage. 81.104.111.169 (talk) 12:28, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting...

Reference User talk:Publicrelationr:

It seems like there is a lot of interest to pay (esp in India) to be put on Wikipedia. In my recent hunting on Indian business/people, I have found most articles were created by experienced or such appearing editors with good knowledge of Wikipedia policies to understand that the subject won't be notable, but using that knowledge to bypass basic checks/scrutiny by others. Mentioning: @331dot @Flux55 @Jeraxmoira for their information. User4edits (talk) 07:54, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Draft on IBM Think conference

Hi. I didn't understand why Draft:IBM Think conference is declined. I have added plenty of reliable third party sources including IEEE Spectrum, TechCrunch and Computer Weekly. I would be glad if you include details. Thanks. VectorVoyager (talk) 10:23, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I do not find WP:SIGCOV, plus many of your citations are WP:PSTS such as IBM itself, and WP:SPS such as PRNEWSWIRE. With what is rest without them, the subject does not seem notable or have received WP:SIGCOV. Thanks, User4edits (talk) 11:02, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have added several significant Forbes citations and more info now along with from other news/tech outlets. Does it look any better? VectorVoyager (talk) 14:16, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @VectorVoyager, Thanks. You may want to TLDR the paragraphs to make it more encyclopedic, right now, it reads like a summary of events or company's internal Minutes. Since I saw some references which do not deal with the conference, but IBM in general, I will not be delving into others before you clean up. Thank you, User4edits (talk) 14:41, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 05:40:02, 27 February 2024 for assistance on AfC submission by Jcody21

Hello, I would like to know what part of the sourcing guidelines you think the sources already included are failing. I understand that the first two sources are not independent/secondary to the subject, but it doesn't make sense to not include them as they are used to outline the goals of the study and what is to be reviewed and are a useful reference to confirm that what the article says is the stated intent. The other two sources should be sufficient to prove the notability of the subject, but if not, I had already attached further sources for article expansion in the future on the talk page, but I didn't want to waste the reviewer's time by including additional sources that all say the same thing. Should I include some of these other sources despite not saying more?

Jcody21 (talk) 05:40, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Jcody21, Please see WP:GNG and WP:N. Thanks, User4edits (talk) 10:51, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Editing in BHU

Hello, I have edited in history context of BHU and found it was reverted twice by you. Would you mind to share your views on reverting my text? We can discuss if you feel these is any correction. I can share links and other info if you may think that it's not valid. Thank You Gurmeetchahal (talk) 07:58, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Gurmeetchahal, You did not CITE any Reliable Source. Therefore it was undone. Also, just in case, [1] is not a Reliable Source. Thanks, User4edits (talk) 11:20, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, This is more surprising to me that you considered my link is not reliable solely. If you are the only decision maker here. It's hard to reach at common platform. There must be plenty of committee members from different community and professions in this specific scenario. However, many other similar links and citation are on this page and they haven't really put effort to prove their point, but they still exist. Is it sort of favouritism that one can play. Moreover, my link which you reshared with me is not even going to right webpage either. I am still open for discussion.Thank You Gurmeetchahal (talk) 13:25, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I do not read AI generated replies. Sorry mate. @Gurmeetchahal. Feel free to come back when you have to say something. Thank you, User4edits (talk) 13:27, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is no AI thing on my side, If one has good writing skills, it doesn't mean he/she is using AI. Now, I would say, you are definitely doing something more suspicious or writing one sided stories on wiki pages. And why would I care if I know I am doing right things. I was very open to discuss with you on same table. But you are really not interested in open dialogues and taking charge of this community page all by yourself. If this will keep going on, no one really trust any open community platform. This is way much against wiki policies even when one person think or believe that he is only right and have enough free time to keep editing pages. Gurmeetchahal (talk) 17:54, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gurmeetchahal Ah, my esteemed interlocutor, your assertion regarding the absence of artificial intelligence in your domain is duly noted, albeit with a measure of perplexity. It is incumbent upon us to acknowledge that the possession of commendable writing prowess does not ipso facto implicate the utilization of artificial intelligence. Indeed, the correlation between linguistic proficiency and the employment of automated means of composition is a matter warranting further contemplation.
However, I must regrettably express my bemusement at the insinuation levied against my personage. Your asseveration that my actions are tinged with suspicion or that I am predisposed to penning narratives of a unilateral nature upon the exalted annals of Wikipedia is, dare I say, confounding. It is incumbent upon us to approach such allegations with a modicum of circumspection, lest we inadvertently traverse the treacherous path of baseless conjecture.
Pray, indulge me in elucidating the fallacy inherent in the notion that one's commitment to rectitude should preclude an earnest engagement in discourse. Verily, I extend the proverbial olive branch in the spirit of amicable dialogue, yet I find myself beset by the specter of unilateralism masquerading as orthodoxy. Permit me to opine that the propagation of an environment conducive to open dialogue necessitates a willingness on the part of all stakeholders to engage in introspection and mutual understanding.
It grieves me to witness the erosion of trust within the crucible of community-driven platforms, for verily, the sanctity of such endeavors rests upon the foundation of collective endeavor and transparency. The assertion that the custodianship of a community page has been usurped by an individual imbued with a sense of unilateral righteousness strikes at the very core of our shared commitment to egalitarian principles.
In summation, let us endeavor to traverse the labyrinthine corridors of discourse with a spirit of magnanimity and intellectual humility. May the beacon of reason guide our deliberations as we navigate the tempestuous seas of communal governance, for it is only through concerted effort and genuine dialogue that we may hope to preserve the sanctity of open community platforms in accordance with the precepts of Wikipedia's hallowed policies. User4edits (talk) 21:30, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gurmeetchahal I implore you to reconsider the tenor of your discourse and to channel your concerns through channels conducive to constructive dialogue and dispute resolution. Personal attacks and unfounded accusations have no place within the hallowed halls of Wikipedia, where the pursuit of knowledge is predicated upon the principles of civility, collaboration, and mutual respect. Let us endeavor to uphold these principles in our interactions, that we may continue to foster a community that is truly open, inclusive, and conducive to the advancement of knowledge for all. User4edits (talk) 21:34, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
wow, wow. this is really a lengthy letter and feels like you just wanted to show your writing skills but unfortunately you get caught within 3 milliseconds. Alas ! No wonder, copyrighters are going out of businesses soon as AI is being used everywhere. I really care less how do you use your natural language skills. I openly admire technology especially when I am coming from same industry. So, why would I question if one is taking help as long as person is delivering value to masses, we shouldn't either.
Let AI keep aside for now, I don't think you will ever get my perspective even I shared a link. Now, I feel, I am wasting my time. But I may try if I can gather more for citation. But again, who knows, it's very easy for you to dismiss it by just saying this is not enough. It's like cat-fight where Arabs and Indian are arguing each other who invented or brought zero to world first. Anyway, Let me wrap-up and I hope you will find peace. Thank You and Good Bye Gurmeetchahal (talk) 07:30, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I recently wrote an article and you keep declining it by saying it's not notable

I wrote an article and you keep constantly rejecting it as. There's many issues with it.

1) First of all the issue mainly concerns of events in Bangladesh. I also only gave tags of Bangladesh in it. Why are Indian editors deciding whether an article concerning Bangladesh is notable or not instead of Bangladeshi editors?

2) You mentioned "Similar and much bigger instances of such protests (from Nepal, Maldives) have been moved/merged to respective country-India relations". You contradicted yourself because Wikipedia has a separate article on the current crisis in Maldives-India relations, see 2024 India–Maldives diplomatic row.

3) The article on this topic exists already on Bengali Wikipedia already. Here it is. It is a pretty big thing in the country right now. Do you suggest to instead translate the Bengali page?

I also replied to you in my talk page but you didn't bother to check it. Why are you, an Indian editor, deciding whether issues concerning Bangladesh are notable or not? Please let others, especially Bangladeshi editors decide on it. The issue is certainly notable and I proved it in my article. Please read it and if you still want to keep declining my article, provide evidence to support your claim. AyazKader (talk) 19:09, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @AyazKader,
1. This is not about being Indian or Bangladeshi.
2. No, you are wrong. 2024 India–Maldives diplomatic row is completely different from India Out in Maldives (more notable event) which is present at India–Maldives relations.
3. Existence on Bengali Wikipedia is not a ticket to English Wikipedia.
Also, you kept repeatedly submitting the draft without any changes or improvements.
I could not see your reply as you were not pinging me, and I was not watching your talk page. Please see WP:NEVENT. Thanks, User4edits (talk) 02:56, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand. If I write an article about Bangladesh, why will an editor from another country judge instead of a local editor who knows the events here better?
The one you showed for Maldives shows the Civil society perception. That has nothing to do with the movement in general. It doesn't have any mention of it either. Completely different topic.
I'm just showing that the event is notable. You constantly keep claiming that it's not while editors in the Bengali Wikipedia says otherwise. The article there is a bit different because it also includes the information about the movement in Maldives too
The article also meets the inclusion criteria
  1. It will have a lasting effect because the whole opposition in Bangladesh together with the civilians who support them are creating an effect already and have plummeted sales of Indian products. This will have an effect on trade and relations of the country in the future. All the references are in my draft. Read it if you don't believe me.
  2. It also received fairly good coverage on both local and international media. The movement is mostly a social media movement. You would see hashtags of the movement have been trending on social media since January as I proved in my article.
Why are you the only person deciding? There should be more people, especially Bangladeshi editors who should also decide here on this matter. AyazKader (talk) 05:15, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
