Biography

Klitz was born in Assens, Denmark. He was the son of Jørgen Thomsen Klitz and Mette née Pedersen. His father was a prominent master blacksmith.[2] In the 1890's Klitz spent a short time in Zurich, Switzerland[3] and then went to Germany to be educated at The Rosendaler Art School in Munich.
