"Master/Slave"
Song

"Master/Slave" is a hidden track in Pearl Jam's first album Ten that begins right about ten seconds after the album's closer "Release", but both count as one track in the CD. It is actually a two-part track that both opens and closes Ten. The first part begins the album, before "Once" starts, and the second part closes the album, after "Release". There are no credits for the song on the album sleeve but copyright information does exist in the Library of Congress.

The song is entirely instrumental (except for random intangible words Vedder emits throughout) and a dominant bass line persists in the song, along with some guitar and sounds that seem to come from the drums.
