Pretendo Network is an third party open-source online service for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. It is meant to replace the defunct Nintendo Network, which shut down on April 9, 2024.^[1]

Background

The Nintendo Network provided online services for games on the Nintendo 3DS family and Wii U. This included online multiplayer support for games and online functionality for parts of the consoles.
