Abdulla bin Mohamed Al Hamed (Arabic: الشيـخ عبـدالله بـن محمد بن بـطـي; born 23 February 1973) was the chair of the Department of Health in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and a member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
Education
Bin Butti Al Hamed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marylhurst College, Marylhurst, Oregon, USA. He also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology, Abu Dhabi campus.[citation needed]
Career
Bin Butti Al Hamed began his career as a government official in 1996, at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. He worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Managing Director of the European Affairs Department, and then as an Undersecretary.[citation needed]
He was the Chairman of Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority from 2015 to 2016.[citation needed]
Between 2016 and 2017, he served as Chairman of Energy Authority in Abu Dhabi, and Chairman of Regulation and Supervision Bureau[1] and a Member of Abu Dhabi Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC).[2]
Bin Butti Al Hamed is the chairman of the Department of Health in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.[3] He is a member of Abu Dhabi's Executive Council.[4]
According to an Azerbaijani organisation ecofront, in 2021 Sheikh Abdulla and his brother Saif were involved in illegal hunting in the country. During the hunt they allegedly killed birds that are listed as endangered species in Azerbaijan, which is contrary to local laws with penalties ranging from 500 to 700 AZN. Photos and videos of the incident posted online have sparked criticism in social media among Azerbaijanis.[citation needed]
