Flying Circus' is a German rock band formed in Grevenbroich in 1990 by Michael Dorp and Michael Rick.

It draws its influences from the spheres of progressive rock and hard rock. So far the band have released seven CDs: First the albums Seasons (1997), Out of the Waste Land (2000), Pomp (2004) and Forth (2010), the release of which coincides with our 20th anniversary. To commemorate this fact, “Forth” was also released as a deluxe edition with a bonus CD with 13 new recordings of our earliest compositions, which were not available until now.

After two new musicians, Ande Roderigo (2011) and Rüdiger Blömer (2012), the first CD with the current line-up was released in 2013, an EP called Ones and Zeros. 2016 was followed by the fifth regular album – a concept work that tells the story of a fictional band in the late 1960s and is accompanied by a bonus CD/DVD package entitled 25 LIVE, which documents the band’s 25th anniversary concert and was recorded on November 22, 2015 at the Union Service Kino in Elsdorf.

In March 2020, 1968 was released, another concept album that set numerous events of this important year to music. In 2021 we released a “Best of” album with a brand new song and many re-recordings of older songs as well as some remixes of songs from the current line-up. In 2022, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of our debut album, we presented a complete re-recording of this work. Another live album (also from 2022), limited to 1,000 copies, is now sold out.

On January 19, 2023, the limited collector's edition Live im Roten Krokodil was recorded at a live concert in Mönchengladbach-Wickrath.
