Hi. I've been contributing in small ways since at least 2004. I'm mostly a techie, but having been born in Washington DC, I know more than a little about the United States, its constitution, and government.

Sigils

In computer programming, a sigil (/ˈsɪəl/) is a symbol affixed to a variable name, showing the variable's datatype or scope, usually a prefix, as in $foo, where $ is the sigil.
