The Polihali Dam is a dam under construction in Lesotho.[1] Dam construction started in 2022. The dam is part of the Phase II of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project.

The Polihali Transfer Tunnel will be used to transfer water from the Polihali resevoir through the interconnecting Mohale Tunnel to the Katse Dam.[2]

Dam features

  • Height - 165 m (541 ft)
  • Crest length - 915 m (3,002 ft)[2]
  • Elevation - 1,940 m (6,360 ft) above sea level
