Dhiraj Singh (Khichi)

Raja Dhiraj Singh was an ruler of 'Kheechi' clan of Chauhans. He was the son of Raja Lal Singh. Raja Lal Singh founded Raghogarh at its zenith.[1] Dhiraj Singh was an great patron of art and music. He also built several temples in his reign. He also fought alongside with Jai Singh of Amber; who was one of his best supporters of his ideas and actions. He was an charitable ruler who was generous towards: Brahmanas, Bhats, Bairagis and Charans. He was killed in an affray with the Ahir tribe.[2][3][4]
