The result of the discussion was keep. (NAC) Armbrust The Homunculus 22:25, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
Userpage for a user with no contributions. Not in English. See WP:SOAPBOX. Magog the Ogre (t • c) 00:01, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
- Keep Looks like a classic test page to me, which is actively encouraged in user space. I see no evidence of soapboxing, not speaking the language. Can anyone translate? Ego White Tray (talk) 04:46, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
- I cannot read it either, but Google Translate says it's in Urdu and it's all talking about how the reader should fear Allah. It is quite literally a sermon. Magog the Ogre (t • c) 22:57, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Google Translate did such a horrible job that you can't even be sure of that. It's not that unusual for a Christian to name-check Jesus on their userpage, and I would expect a Muslim to name-check Allah. Without a better translation, you can't say that it's soapboxing. - I am seriously shocked. You would want to keep a userpage from a brand new editor with literally no other contributions when the page is literally a sermon? And yes, as a Google Translate frequent user and foriegn-language speaker, I can verify that we most unquestionably know what it's talking about. Magog the Ogre (t • c) 03:18, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
- You might be the reason this editor has no other contributions. So far, his only experience here is having a guy try to delete his page. Ego White Tray (talk) 03:04, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
- I would appreciate if you would stop playing coy and acknowledge what I said above. It is a sermon, literally. It falls under WP:NOT. We wouldn't even tolerate this from most established users. This guy needs to be pointed to Wikipedia:Alternative outlets. Magog the Ogre (t • c) 23:09, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

- Pessimistic Keep per EWT. It doesn't look good, but I'd like to give this new user the benefit of the doubt. --Surturz (talk) 05:01, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
