Ravshan Khodjaev (Uzbek: Xodjaev Ravshan Ilxanovich; eng: Ravshan Khodjaev born January 16, 1980, Bukhara, Uzbek SSR, USSR) — is a senior coach of the national boxing team of Uzbekistan from 2016 to the present. The holder of the honorary title "Honored Coach of Uzbekistan", the Order of Dustlik and the winner of the international Golden Mongoose Award.[1]
Biography
Khojaev Ravshan was born on January 16, 1980 in the city of Bukhara (Uzbekistan). He began boxing from 1994 to 2005. He became the Master of Sports of Uzbekistan in boxing, after which he began coaching. He has two higher educations. In 2011 he graduated from Bukhara State University, Faculty of Psychology. In 2017 he graduated from the second higher education at the same university at the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports. In 2022 he graduated from the master's degree of the Faculty of Sports Theory. Since 2016 he has been working as a senior coach of the national boxing team of Uzbekistan, worked in a semi-professional The Uzbek Tigers team before the closure of the club, as a coach, participated many times in the Olympic Games, world championships, and Asia. He trained top boxers as the silver medalist of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, and the 2017 world champion in Germany (Hamburg) Shakhram Giyasov, Elnur Abduraimov,[2] the champion of the Olympic Games in Rio Zoirov Shahobiddin, prepared for professional fights world champions Shakhram Giyasov and IBA World Boxing Championships silver medalist Saidjamshid Jafarov.[3][4][5]
