Robert Paul Brunet (born July 29, 1946) is a former American football running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins. He played college football at Louisiana Tech University and was drafted in the seventh round of the 1968 NFL Draft.

In 1973, Brunet and his brother, Billy, began a seafood delivery business in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They then turned the company into a restaurant, which opened in 1977 under the name The Galley before being renamed to Brunet's Cajun Restaurant in the early 1980s. They retired in 2011 and closed the restaurant.[1]
