Feedback from New Page Review process

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Thanks for creating, then working on improving the article over the past few weeks. It's a really helpful contribution, and I was a little surprised to find that we didn't already have an article on it!

Assessment Results from HKU

Grade: B

  • Organisation: B
  • Content/Audience Awareness: B
  • Language: B
  • Writing Ethics: B

Comments: Your article is well-structured, comprehensive, and adheres to the tone and language expected in a wiki article. However, as explicitly stated in our lessons, provided materials, and the reminder email sent before the deadline, you were instructed not to move your article to Wikipedia's main space as we would do this part after the completion of our marking process. You also made additional edits after the submission deadline. This action has caused several complications: the Wikipedia version, which we use for assessment purposes, no longer matches the PDF version you submitted to Turnitin. Originally, your work qualified for an A grade; however, due to these issues, and in consultation with the moderation team, very regrettably, it has been adjusted to a B grade. Compliance with all guidelines is just as important as the quality of the assignment itself.

This was the feedback I received for the article for "CAES9722: Academic English for Biomedical Sciences Students" at The University of Hong Kong (HKU). It's a bit of a shame, but I think it is an "interesting" tidbit for anyone who stumbles across this talk page! InsightfulOctopus (talk) 06:57, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
