Yukiya Ikegawa (池川侑希弥, Ikegawa Yūkiya, born January 22, 2009)[2] is a Japanese idol and child actor. He is a member of Johnny's Jr. male idol group Boys be [ja].[3]

Life and career

Ikegawa was born on January 22, 2009, in Okinawa and grew up in Osaka Prefecture after his family relocated there when he was six years old. He has one older sister.[4] Admiring Ryosuke Yamada and Shunsuke Michieda, he sent his resume to Johnny's office at fourth grade, and admitted to the company in 2019 after the audition.[4] He then went on to become a member of Boys be, a unit within Johnny's Jr. that was formed in 2020.[4]

In March 2023, he made his very first starring role as an actor in the movie "Brats, Be Ambitious!".[5][6]

Personal life

  • Ikegawa is trained in golf as he had practiced it from fourth up to sixth grade.[4]
  • He usually plays the role of MC in the group.
