Rayan Berberi (born 18 March 2004) is a Luxembourgian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Standard Liège.[1]

Early life

Berberi has regarded Spain international Andres Iniesta as his football idol.[2]

Club career

As a youth player, Berberi joined the youth academy of French side FC Metz. In 2019, he joined the youth academy of Belgian side Standard Liège. He played for the club's reserve team, where he was regarded as one of their most important players.[2] He has trained with the club's first team.

International career

Berberi has represented Luxembourg internationally at youth level.

Style of play

Berberi mainly operates as a midfielder. He can operate as a number eight or a number ten and is known for his playmaking abilities.[3]
