Harriet V. Kuhnlein

Harriet V. Kuhnlein is Professor Emerita of Human Nutrition at McGill University.[1] She is also Founding Director of the Centre for Indigenous Peoples' Nutrition and Environment (CINE).[1]

Education

Kuhnlein has a PhD from University of California, Berkeley and an honorary LL.D. from University of Western Ontario.[1]

Awards

In 2024, Kuhnlein was awarded the Distinguished Ethnobiologist Award from the Society of Ethnobiology.[2] Kuhnlein received the Unsung Heroes of McGill award in 2022.[3] Also in 2022, she received the Living Legend Award from the International Union of Nutritional Sciences.[4]
