Fatma Nur was born in April 1516 in Manisa, the daughter of the governor of Manisa, Prince Suleiman (the future ruler).Fülane Hatun is believed to be her mother. According to one version, she died in childhood, according to the second version, which is considered the most probable, she never married, and according to the third version, in 1540 she married the architect Sinan and gave birth to him two children: Nilüfer Hanımsultan and Sultanzade Halil.Her name means: light of goodness
