[edit]This template is for works published anonymously before 1929. It takes one optional parameter, the year of publication (e.g. {{PD-anon-expired|1889}} produces

It is in the public domain in the United States, as well as in countries and areas where the copyright duration of anonymous or pseudonymous works is 134 years since publication or less.
