Ayub Ali (born 1973 in Sangaw, Chamchamal)[1][2] is a Kurdish singer. He sings in Sorani dialect, and has numerous songs in Kurmanji.[3] In 2003, he wrote, composed, and sang "Don't break my heart". He followed up with two albums in 2004 and 2006 respectively, "A Never Ending Sorrow" and "Goodbye", which were both largely critically acclaimed.[4] In 2009, Ali published his third album under the name of "Candle" with composer Halkawt Zaher.
