Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib is a gurdwara in the city Anandpur Sahib, Rupnagar district, Punjab, India. The head of Guru Teg Bahadur, the ninth Guru of the Sikhs was cremated in this Gurdwara.

History

The history of this Gurdwara is that ninth Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Teg Bahadur was martyred at Delhi 11 November 1675. His head was brought by Bhai Jaita and his companions form Delhi to Chak Nanaki (Anandpur Sahib) and His head was cremated at this place. When Guru Gobind Singh lift Anandpur Sahib on the night of 5 December 1705, he visited the shrine and appointed Bhai Gurbaksh Das Udasi as his attendant and begam his final journey.
