M/Y EMIR is a luxury charter megayacht, customized to offer a journey beyond expectations. According to BOAT International, she is one of the world’s most distinguished motor yachts in the 80-90m size range.[1] Originally launched in 2004 by Golden Yachts as O’Mega, Emir underwent a rejuvenating refit in 2022, further enhancing her luxurious appeal.[2] Built-in 2004 and introduced as a motor yacht by Golden Yachts, she continues to be among the most popular choices for selective travelers and celebrities for excursions, luxury escapes, and private events, as she defines sheer comfort and elegance.[3] In 2022, after undergoing an extensive refit costing €20M, the 82.5m (270.66 ft) megayacht M/Y EMIR can comfortably host up to 28 guests.[4][5]

Crew

M/Y EMIR’s permanent crew consists of 28 members, including the captain.[3]

Design

Georgia Ntota & Associates and the award-winning Studio Vafiadis have designed the yacht. All of her indoor and outdoor furniture was made to order at Italy’s most exclusive luxury yacht designer houses, using materials of the highest quality. The interior and exterior layouts were originally designed by Studio Vafiadis, where vertical lines in the interior are balanced by the organic shapes of the furniture layout, while the exterior curvy hull lines create a perfect balance with the round-shaped outdoor furniture. The interior décor includes a variety of backlit onyx wall panels with attractive shapes and consistent lighting throughout the yacht. The oval-shaped exterior pillars create a floating environment, while her stainless-steel mirror finish and LED strip lighting all around emphasize symmetry.[6]
