History
The AI mattress was created in 2013 by the iFutureLab team, who also started a high-end custom AI mattress company 'Heka'. They had effectively applied for and been granted patents for the AI mattress concept by 2014. HEKA unveiled its fifth-generation AI mattress technology in 2017 and 2018.[3][4]
HEKA's research and development team comprises experts from the Stanford University Center for Sleep Science and Medicine, iFutureLab, and other international research institutions.[5][6]
